This intimate and compelling portrait of the conductor, Sir Colin Davis, who passed away in April 2013, reveals a reluctant maestro.  Shortly before his final illness, he spoke movingly and in great detail to John Bridcut about his career, his philosophy of life, his passion for music, and the death he sensed was approaching.  It is an unusual confession, in the style of a last testament, from a celebrated conductor with a complex personality.
