This psychological profile of the peerless Russian dancer, Rudolf Nureyev, contains exclusive new footage of his early years with the Kirov Ballet in Leningrad.  It also tells the story of his affair with a young East German dancer, Teja Kremke, and his subsequent defection to the West during the Kirov’s visit to Paris in 1961.
